Adding Text with Splashup
Adding text to an image is one of the easiest things to do. It's the best way to protect the images that you put online as well, and is considered a type of "watermarking."
Adding Text

After you open the image that you want to add text to, click on the Text Tool in the toolbar. It looks like a big A.

Once you've done that you will see in the options bar at the top where you can choose your font, size, and style. Look at your color palette and make sure the color that you want the text to be is in the one selected. Don't worry, it's not set in stone, so if you don't like it once you've added it, you can change it. Just place your cursor over your image where you want your text to begin, click, and start typing. Type the text into the box, and click Apply. If you want to change the font/size/color, click on the Text tool in your toolbar (the letter A), and click on the text in your image. You can then highlight it, and you can make your changes in the toolbar at the top. Splashup does not have very many fonts to choose from, and you cannot add new ones, so you're stuck with those.
